Meeting Families Where They Are
What if we could build our communities around children and their families? What if we could take what we know about how children learn and create equitable and accessible learning opportunities in everyday places where children and their families gather?
We can! And we are doing it at the Morris Marketplace Thinkscape Community Park. Located in Morris Township, near the intersection of I-287 and Route 24 (adjacent to Mennen Sports Arena), this park will service communities across the four NJ counties of Morris, Sommerset, Union & Essex.
Including playful learning into the design of the pocket park offers a unique approach to urban planning and is designed to meet families where they are by incorporating child-friendly design and learning through play.
The pocket park is designed for multigenerational learning and to create a community gathering space that builds connections and inspires learning in a new innovative way.
Children spend 80 percent of their waking time outside of school. So let’s meet them where THEY are, as they shop and learn at the Morris Marketplace.

Based on the science of learning, this Thinkscape Community Park will be the first of it's kind in New Jersey - and right in the heart of your community!
